Question
"Hello, I will be planning and preparing food for 100 ppl for a fall wedding reception for my step-dtr. I think we may go for a salad, soup, pasta dishes and some type of bread to dip in spices with olive oil. I am also open to other menu suggestions. I will have a kitchen at the reception hall and also helpers. Any and all help would be appreciated. :) thanks, Connie"

I'll be glad to help you, but I will need to know definitely how many guests you are having and how many ovens you will have at your disposal before I can give you recipes for the quantity of food you will need to prepare.
The bread/dip is a good idea. I'd do a vegetarian pasta dish with something like sausage and peppers on the side for the carnivores om the guest list. A nice tossed or Caesar salad sounds good and an Italian wedding soup would also be nice.
Obviously there will be wedding cake and I will tell you a secret-I got my wedding cake at Wal-mart and it was gorgeous and delicious! NO ONE would believe it came from Wal-mart but it did and it was $78! The biggest one they have which will easily serve 100 is $132 at the moment--still a great deal when you consider that a wedding cake from your average cake bakery will cost $800-$3000! I'll send you a picture of the cake if you like--but don't tell your stepdaughter where her cake is coming from!!
