Hi there,
I would love your help. My Fiancee & I are having an engagement party bbq for approx 80 people. I was going to keep it simple with burgers patties, sausages etc, burger buns, and lots of salads. But I have no idea how much meat & salad I will need to cater for that many people. I would really appreciate your help!

Answer
You will need 1.5 buns per person, 7 oz of cooked meat per person, 3-4 oz of salad greens per person, and 5-6 oz of side dishes per person. You will need 1 dessert serving per person and a MINIMUM of 16 oz of non-alcoholic beverage per person and a lot more if you have it outside in the summer.  You will also need plates, napkins, cups and flatware to serve it on.
