Cooking for Parties/What to charge for Spaghetti dinner for fundraising

Question
Hi. I would like to host a spaghetti dinner as a fundraiser and I would like to know what is the suitable price to charge for a dinner including spaghetti and meatballs, salad, garlic bread, desert, and soft drinks. I am in the Philadelphia area if that helps at all.

Answer
Take the cost of the ingredients, multiply by 5 and then divide by the number of dinners you are planning to serve.  I'd sell the soft drinks individually and you'll make more money if you make something like iced tea--dirt cheap to make--about 14 cents a glass and sells for $1.50 plus in most places.
