Question
Hi,I'm trying to plan food for a graduation party. I'm guessing about 150 kids. How much sausage (for peppers and sausage sandwiches, I'm also having chicken, pasta, 2 veggies and cake! Is 20lbs of sausage too much or not enough? I won't have anyway of knowing exactly how many people. thanks!!

Answer
If you don't have a head count then you can't do food accurately and for 150 people you would need 85 pounds of sausage.  A MUCH BETTER plan would be to call your local Domino's where they will be delighted to deliver any number of 1-topping large pizzas for about $6 each. This means about 38 pizzas that can be ordered in lots of 10 at a time or so and will cost a max of $225 plus tip at $6 a pie. This will keep you from spending a LOT more for the items you are planning, kids love pizza and you can order what you need as you need it with no waste!
