I have been asked to cater a senior class breakfast for 250 students. All cooking must be done off-site. Not sure if this can be pulled off in my home kitchen. I need to know amounts: eggs, sausage, pancakes, danish, doughnuts, pastries, and fruit juice. Please help!
There is no possible way to do this in your home kitchen. You would need a staff of at least 4 plus a commercial kitchen with 3 stoves and ovens to pull this off. I will tell you what to do--go to McDonalds and get them to give you a price on 250 Big Breakfast meals which have eggs, sausage, pancakes, hash browns and a biscuit for about $3.50 and maybe less if you buy a lot of them. They're all neatly packed and in styro with utensils. That's my best suggestion and it's a good one--and when you find out that even McDONALDS with their staff and huge commercial kitchen has a problem getting all these breakfasts together at the same time you will wonder how in the heck you EVER thought you could do this in a home kitchen. You also have too many items. No one person will eat an order of eggs, sausage, pancakes, danish, donuts and patries in the same meal--particularly not high school girls who are all anorexic anyway. Do what I suggested and you will be better off and save money too!
