Question
Can Haluski be prepared and refrigerated ahead of time or frozen? How long will it keep fresh in the fridge? I want to make it on a Wednesday night and serve it on Saturday of the same week? Will it stay good or make my quests sick?
It won't go bad but I wouldn't serve 3 day old food to anyone I ever wanted to see again! The only exception to that would be spaghetti sauce and chilli but not much else improves with age and pasta gets an 'off' taste very quickly in the fridge and cabbage doesn't freeze well.
