Cooking for Parties/salad for 35?

Question
My daughter has a soccer BBQ tomorrow. I was asked to bring salad for 35. When I asked what kind the coach said any kind. There will also be another mom bringing salad for 35. I am not sure which kind. I wish I knew!! Anyhow, my daughter who is 11 suggested green salad. Is that weird to take to a BBQ. I bought 2 large heads of iceberg, a bunch of green leaf, and three romain hearts, 3 cucumbers and a few carrots to shred in it. Do you think this will be enough and is green salad ok? Oh and I got three things of dressing. 2 Ranch and an Italian each serves 16.

Answer
It should be fine although he probably meant potato salad or pasta salad but should have said so.  Green salad should be fine and you have plenty for the kids who won't eat it anyway.  I hand out candy bars at such events--which makes me really popular with the kids!
