Cooking for Parties/Why wouldn't you grill steaks from a Cooked Prime Rib

Question
In a recent question you made the following comment.. http://en.allexperts.com/q/Cooking-Parties-2311/2008/12/Prime-rib-roasted-grill....

"and I know you don't cook because no one who cooks would EVER contemplate cooking a prime rib and then grilling it! LOL"

Obviously you are grossly mistaken.  In Texas, it's the only way to prepare Prime Rib Steaks.  Not Rib eye.. but Prime Rib Steaks... Steaks cut from a cooked prime rib.. then finished on a very hot grill. Seared on the outside *the edges of the steak are perfect from the roasting of the rib.. and perfectly rare in the center.

You should maybe try it once prior to making sweeping statements as such.  So my question is .. why would you answer this persons question when you are obviously not an expert.

In Texas its the ONLY way to make Prime Rib Steaks.

Answer
What makes you think anyone in the other 49 states gives a shit how you do things in Texas?
Obviously you like your meat well-done and shoe leather tough but in the civilized states, we don't insult the meat by cooking it to death. People in Texas are also under the impression that you can make barbecue with beef. The rest of us know that if you're having a barbecue, you need to involve a pig.
