Question Generally, what is the base pay for general managers of high volume restaurants? I am looking for a corporate job again.
I have 10+ years high volume GM experience.
I previously owned a successful restaurant and grew sales from 700k to 2.4m in over three years.

I know there are many factors, but can you ballpark it?
Answer They vary based on several factors, not the least of which is geography, type of concept, experience, positions available, etc...
Right now it's a buyers market so you will have stiff competition.
The trend also, is for lower base salaries but with much higher bonus potential.
GM salaries can run from 45k to over 100k depending on the variables. It's wide open because the options for a GM position are such. "Salary.com" is a website I would recommend to find out the ballpark for your area.
