Cooking & Restaurant Management - signing the restaurants

Expert: Mike Handy - 6/20/2009

Question
How do I get the restaurants to sign up with me if you are new this?  I have already have sent out letters and only one responded.  I am waiting on feed back from them.

Answer
Hi Andre,

A face the face meeting is the only way I ever sign them.  Remember, these are managers and owners of restaurants that have very busy days.  When they receive a piece of information in the mail they may review it, but if they have questions, which they always do, there is no one there to answer them.

Mailing out initial information is good, but you need to follow up with a face to face meeting.  Have your information ready so that you can overcome concerns like "their food doesn't travel well" or "we tried this before and it didn't work" or "how do I know you will market effectively".

You can find this information and more on how to sign up restaurants at www.restaurantdeliveryusa.com .

Thanks,
Mike Handy
