Ask me about things to do and places to go to alleviate loneliness and low self-esteem. I can help you to meet people who share your interests.

Experience
I had very low self-esteem in high school. I overcame it, and have since helped many of my friends with similar issues.

Question
Dear Andrew,

I saw that you are an expert and self-esteem and was wondering how you built it up so well. I am 25 and still live at home while going to school but I feel so inferior to others around me because I have little cash, am losing my hair, and just don't seem to fit in. I am trying to read some self-help books now, but just feel so trapped in my old, low self esteem life. Should I completely change my life around, and if so, how? What makes other, confident, people so popular?

John

Answer
Hi John,

Confidence goes along way, if you are not confident in yourself it shows. What are you doing to meet people? have you considered taking a class at a nearby school or getting involved with a group or organization that interests you? such websites like www.meetup.com help find groups in your area that may interest you that you can meet people that share similar interests. the more confident you are the easier it will be to meet people, but one of the biggest steps is to get involved as much as possible!!
