wish to register name for new home design. the design will be copyrighted; question is, can we register the model name? A
trademark search revealed a flooring product with this name
as a registered trademark.

I'll need to know more details to determine if this is something we'd consider a strong similarity or a weak similarity. If you can provide me answers to the following questions, I can certainly help you further.

1) What is the serial number of the trademarked flooring product? If that's not available, what is the name?

2) What is the model name?

3) What exactly is the home design product? What is its commercial name (e.g. furniture, lighting, etc).
