Copyright & Patents/album or song?

Question
Since I've written all the materials for my album, is it wise to copyright it as an album instead of copyrighting each individual song (to save money)? Would the copyright include the rights for each song?

Answer
Dear Drew,

This is a bit outside of my expertise but I did some research for you on the web & found a couple links that address your questions:

http://www.mahalo.com/how-to-copyright-your-music

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Warmest regards,
