Question
Are there inventor associations that subsidize patent costs?
Even if inventors have to agree to share part of the patent profits with the association if a patent is sold?

Answer
There are none that I can recommend. There are outfits that advertise on TV, whose "pitch" often is that they believe in your invention so much that they will get you a patent for half price in return for a 50% interest. Then, the catch is that they would quote a price of $15,000 of which they would reduce that cost 50% in return for a 50% interest in  your patent. Then, the inventor finds out later that his $7,500 bought a 50% interest in a design patent (as opposed to a utility patent) that normally would have cost somewhere around $2,000.
