Question
how do i restore photo paint 7 to default, or how to get program to restore redo

Answer
David,

I don't have any versions of PhotoPaint as old as 7 left
around.

At a guess, you need to go to the options dialog and reset
the workspace to the default.   Then look for the undo/redo
levels setting, and change it to a value greater than 0.

In some versions of PhotoPaint, if you press F8 during startup,
it would run with factory default settings.  So try that too.

Other than that, I don't know what to tell you.  As a last
resort, you could try re-installing PhotoPaint, or upgrade
to a newer version (11 or later).

Sorry...
