Question
Where can I find and download paint brush nibs? I looked on on my software and couldn't find it; I have searched the net some, but really didn't know where to go......can you help?

I'm in commercial real estate and work alot with maps and site plans......this is where some other nib shapes would come in handy.

Thanks!
Monique

Answer
Monique,

Sorry I'm so late in getting back to you, I was on
vacation and just got back.  I thought I put myself on
vacation from AllExperts, but I guess I did it wrong.

Anyway, you can create new nibs in a variety of ways,
but I cannot think of anywhere that offers special shape
nibs.  There are a few sites that offer special brushes,
but mostly in the vein of special colors and stuff.
For example:

If you have PhotoPaint 8 or later, then you have dozens
and dozens of brushes already.

There is also a tutorial about importing CorelDRAW
symbols into PhotoPaint as brushes.  You can find it
here:

     http://www.unleash.com/ruth/draw2paint/

You should also think about whether PhotoPaint is the
best tool for what you are trying to do.  For example,
if I wanted to add notations and changes to a map or
site plan, I would import the image of the map or site
plan into CorelDRAW as a layer, and then add text and
symbols and stuff in a separate layer.

Sorry I can't help more on this particular topic.
