Corel Photo Paint/Photopaint V12 - Changing Colours of Image

Question
A super dooper noobie question!

I have scanned an image - a simple red design on white background. How do I change the red to whatever colour I want? (and adjust the intensity of that new colour?)

I've no doubt this is a painfully boring question - but I just simply don't know the lingo of what to ask / search for. Thanks for your patience & time.

Answer
Brinkerz,

  As long as the only colorful parts of your image
are red, then you can easily change the red to blue
or other colors using two different methods:

    1. Image->Adjust->Hue/Saturation/Lightness
       Adjust the "Hue" slider

    2. Image->Adjust->Replace Colors
       Adjust the Old and New colors, and the Range.

If you need more complicated adjustments, you should
probably selectively mask the colored areas of the
image you want, then use method 1 above.

Good luck...
