Answer
Willy,

 There are several ways to join two graphics.  The
simplest way is to just create a new blank image that
is as large as the two other images together, then
copy and paste the other two graphics into the new one
and the save it.

 The sequence would be something like this:

          File->Open..          Select graphic1
          View->Image info..    Get size of graphic1
          File->Open..          Select graphic2
          View->Image info..    Get size of graphic2
          File->New             Create graphic3 as large
                                  as graphic1 and graphic2
                                  together
          Window->graphic1
          Mask->select all
          Edit->Copy
          Window->graphic3
          Edit->Paste->As New Object
          (position the object using arrow keys)
          Object->Combine->Combine all with background
          Window->graphic2
          Mask->select all
          Edit->Copy
          Window->graphic3
          Edit->Paste->As New Object
          (position the object using arrow keys)
          Object->Combine->Combine all with background
          File->Save As..      save graphic3 to a file

That's about it.  You can do all kinds of special stuff
with combining the images by using PhotoPaint's object
transparency and Effects.

Hope this helps...
