When I try to open a movie in Photopaint it reads: "...WMV is not importable using the selected filter, or this format is not supported." How can I open a movie to manipulate it in Photopaint? I'd appreciate any advice!

 I'm sorry, but PhotoPaint cannot open movies in the
WMV format.  That format is Microsoft-proprietary, and
only Microsoft programs can open it.  

 You must first convert the WMV movie to some movie format
that Photopaint can open, such as AVI or MOV.  There are
many commercial converters out there, but no free ones
that I know of.  There are some shareware ones, such as
WinAVI.  It can supposedly read WMV and write AVI, but I
haven't used it myself (all my movies are in MOV format).
