due to a terrible virus attack i have lost my photopaint 5 try as i might i can locate no copy, corel is no help at all, could you please advise where i might find a copy. i have later versions but they just dont do it for me thanks steve

 Wow, Corel suite version 5!  That's pretty old.
I don't know where you could find that anymore, except
maybe deep in old inventories.   Did you look on
E-bay (www.ebay.com) and other auction sites?

 The oldest version I could find in a few minutes of
searching was Corel suite version 7, at
http://www.5dollarsoftware.com/codr7se.html

 Another possibility would be to post to some of the
Corel forums, asking fellow users if they have an old
copy they'd be willing to sell.  (I gave away my copy
of version 5 several years ago.)

 I don't want to sound preachy, but you might want to
take this opportunity to get comfortable with a newer
version.  I know it will be a pain, but you'll gain lots
of capabilities in the end.
