Answer
Hi Venkatraj

I use X4 every day and the ARM is very rare - perhaps one time each 3 months. Normally it happens when I do a certain thing. One thing in particular is adjusting the line-spacing of Paragraph Text by using the Shape Tool on the little "spring" which appears just under the paragraph box, on the left side.

If you get the ARM often then I think there is something about your PC that is causing it. If that is true, you might have problems whichever program you use. Check the Application Event Log and see if anything in there can help you.

Also, remember what you were doing each time the ARM appears, is it the same thing each time like in my case?

And of course, save your file more often - there is no excuse for losing "lot of modification" because you forget to press Ctrl+S a few times!

Kind regards

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
