Question
I have similar problem reported by others to your forum  - I have been using Corel Draw 11 for several years but just recently loaded Windows 7 %26 trying to save a file I get message 'Temp Drive or ourput drive may be full' I've emptied Temp file in Windows, switched off backup on save as suggested but still cant save - any ideas or is this a Windows 7 gremlin ?

Answer
Hi David

I run CorelDraw X4 on Windows 7 on my home PC and have had no problems. I can see yours is an earlier version but I doubt if that is the cause of your error.

You can check the location of CorelDraw's temp folders in Options (Ctrl+J) then Workspace/Memory. Both of mine are set to the default C:\Users\Ran\Appdata\Local\Temp. Presumably you're working locally (on your internal hard drive), in which case you are sure there *is* enough free space on drive C:.

Possibly something that CorelDraw has done within your file is preventing it from being saved. Are you able to save a very simple file containing just a small square, for example?

If you are still stuffed a last resort is to uninstall/reinstall CorelDraw (I hate to say it but it sometimes cleans things up!)

Please let me know how you get on, good luck.

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
