Question
When I save file, it gives error message as "Cant write file name" and once I click OK, the application closes. When I open the file, it displays a blank page. However when I see the file size shows the actual size of file but when I open it is blank. Please help me in this regard.

Answer
I have not seen this error message before but perhaps you are using an illegal file name.

File names must be under 65 characters long and not contain illegal characters, such as /\@ etc.

It seems that CorelDraw has saved a corrupted version of your file - or maybe has started to save the file of a certain size (and allocated the space on your disk) and then failed to write the data.

Expertise

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
