Question
when printing on roland vp - 300 there are small verticle lines in the drop shadows. is this common. what can i do.
This sounds like a "fountain steps" issue. Perhaps you are sending too many fountain steps for the resolution of your printer, so it is struggling to fade between greyscales.
I recommend working through the steps in the CorelDraw help system under "Fine-tuning print jobs"
