Question
whenever i convert a coreldraw 11 file in dxf or dwg format i m not able to edit it in AutoCAD 2004 please help

Answer
Sorry for the late reply, I have been away for a few days.

I have no knowledge of AutoCAD apart from playing with a copy of v10 for a while, quite a few years ago.

However in the past I have known some of CorelDraw's export filters to be no use at all. For example version 8 was incapable of producing a .pdf file which was outrageous!

I would start to find the problem by trying to export a VERY simple drawing, perhaps just a single straight line...

If it doesn't work:
Completely remove CorelDraw from your PC
Reboot your PC
Install CorelDraw again
Good luck!

If it does work:
Add other objects to your drawing and test each time. Perhaps there is a particular type of object which the export filter doesn't like, e.g. gradient fills or powerclips.

This is my best suggestion and it is how I would go about solving this problem for myself. Please let me know how you get on, thanks.

Expertise

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
