Answer
CorelDraw provides excellent tools for aligning text and objects. If your individual items are separate pieces of Artistic Text, use Arrange/Align and Distribute. Align everything first, then you can Distribute everything vertically. It is worth learning the keyboard shortcuts for these commands because they are truly useful.

If your price list is typed into one section of Paragraph Text it is possible to use Tabs to put the prices on the right. This method is more fiddly but is probably best for a large number of items. Make sure you add a Right-aligned Tab (or Decimal) to align your prices. Select ALL the text in the paragraph text box (use Ctrl+A) before making any tab changes. If not, the changes will only apply to the line your cursor is on (this is why it is more fiddly to get it right!)

Good luck with your menu and be assured you are using probably the easiest and best software for this job!

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
