Question
I receive a lot of artwork from our suppliers in China that are in cdr format.
I have Coreldraw 12 installed on my machine.
However, most of the time, the cdr files I receive will just open up as blank documents.
In explorer view I can see the preview thumbnail ok, and the file size certainly implies there is data.
Why does this happen and how can we prevent it?

When you open the blank document, open the Object Manager and see if there is any information in the layers, perhaps a layer has become hidden.
I have no idea why this might be, but it's worth a try.
Do you see any error messages while opening the files?
