QUESTION: Hello Sir,
Myself Kedar Desai. I have just installed corel draw 12. But the problem is its not launching. Its showing me logo for 5 sec, but then it fails to launch corel draw 12. Its not showing me any error.
Please help me. How can i solve this problem ? Please help me out.

I have not seen this problem before and I do not know the answer.

I do not suspect a virus or malware but I presume you have done a full system sweep recently and you are confident your system is clean.

It sounds like CorelDraw is encountering a problem with some other software or driver which is running on your system. I would start by looking in the Windows Event Viewer (Application section) to see if CorelDraw managed to write anything into it before it died.

Then, try closing down as many other likely things as you can, while trying to start CorelDraw each time. Use the Task Manager to do this. It is possible you may stop some things from working but if you get into trouble just hit the power switch and restart.

Thank you for your advice. But i already tried with the help of task manager. When the logo displays it shows some application as working and then when logo gets invisible application terminates.

This is very frustrating for you.

But *something* running on your computer is causing this problem. Also try removing any USB devices such as Bluetooth adaptors and printers.

You could try running Windows in Safe Mode, with minimum drivers loaded. Press F8 as Windows starts up for a boot menu.
