CorelDraw/Context menus cause crash

Question
Dear Expert,
Today I tried to use my CorelDraw for the first time in two months.  Whenever I right-click on a line to bring up the context menu (in this case to change a line to a curv), the application immediately closes with no ARM notice.  I have both 12 and X3, and it occurs on both versions. I have tried resetting the workspace and removing and re-installing the application. I can't work effectively, and I have no idea what the problem is.  I also notice the Context Menu toolbar does not work.  I hope you can help me and I appreciate your time.  Thank you!

Answer
Hi Thom

I sent in my answer a couple of days ago but the site is telling me it's still open.

I've not encountered this situation before and you seem to have tried all the obvious things. Does your right-button work in other programs (mouse problem?).

If it's not that, there must be surely be something else which has changed on your system in the past two months which is causing this very annoying problem.

So, apart from these modest suggestions I have nothing else to offer you, sorry!

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
