cant find file, tools, or view on the task bar it is gone?
Hi Matthew
When you say "task bar" I presume you mean the menu bar. If the menu has vanished altogether it has probably been turned off somehow.
If you are totally mad, in X4 you could remove it with Tools/Customization and uncheck the Menu Bar checkbox. The problem is, how to get it back when the menu itself is gone!
Press Ctrl+J to get into Options. Then Workspace/Customization/Command Bars and check the Menu Bar checkbox. This should solve your problem, if I have understood your extremely brief description correctly.
