Question

GRAPHIC
I WANT TO COLOUR A STAR, THE LINE DRAWN WAS WITH BEZIER TOOL. I USED INTERACTIVE FILL TOOL TO COLOUR IT BUT THE COLOR WAS NOT SHOWING OR HAVING ANY EFFECT. PLEASE HOW CAN I COLOR THE CHISEL OBJECT.

Answer
Hiya Ken,
follow these steps to achieve what I believe to be the simplest way to achieve the desired result.

1. long-click on the graph button to reveal the tab

2. select the star tool and draw to the desired scale you require

3. apply to the star the desired fill colour (must have a fill colour)

4. click on effects then on Bevel to open the Bevel options

5. click on apply to give the star that "chiselled" look.

Note: you can adjust the bevel distance only before you apply the effect. If it doesnt have the angle you desire you can increase or decrease the bevel offset distance.

This effect automatically gives it the look you are going for but it does change it to a bitmap fill instaed of a solid fill.

I hope that helps and good luck.
