Question
is there a way i can add a zebra fill to the fill and make it look like it should? I know you can create but it look silly and digital.

Answer
Hiya Tanya,
the simplest and easiest way to achieve this is by "Powerclipping"

A Power clip is placing objects/images inside another vector area.
Powerclipping will allow you to position images or patterns inside any shape as well as allowing you to manipulate it.

Follow these steps to perform a simple powerclip:

1. draw a simple elipse in the centre of your page

2. import a jpeg image (preferably a photo, possibly of a zebra print)

3. drag and drop the jpeg image on top of the elipse using the RIGHT mouse key.

4. left click on "Powerclip inside".

This will place the jpeg image inside of the elipse area. This can be performed with any object or group of objects. At this stage we can then manipulate the powerclipped image by performing the following:

5. right click the elipse to bring up options

6. left click on "edit contents"

7. you can now scale, rotate and alter the position of the image within the outline of the elipse.

8. when finished right click the powerclipped image to bring up options and left click on "finish editing this level"

This will then take you back to full preview mode. Using this technique I am sure that you will be able to achieve the result you desire. With practice you can create many different effects using powerclips and other filters.

I wish you luck with this project and hope that I have been of help.

Cheers,

Elmer
