CorelDraw/Corel draw x3

Question
I was trying to move and object with the mouse and it makes lots and lots of copies of it when trying to move it. I rebooted my computer and it was working ok for a few minutes then it started again. I can select the obgject and move it with the arrow keys and it doesn't make zillions of copies. Only when I try to move it with the mouxe.

Answer
Hi Kaye

I see the same effect myself, but only when moving objects which have thick outlines. Are these copies "real" or are they just screen artefacts? After moving something, when the copies are all visible, press Ctrl+W to request a screen refresh - this is how I solve it.

If this doesn't fix it, I don't think this is a CorelDraw issue - Could it be a fault with your mouse or mouse driver? Eliminate this by swapping for another mouse and see if this helps.

Expertise

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
