CorelDraw/colours

Question
Hi Ran,
I use Corel x3 to create graphics which I then copy & paste into word documents. This has always worked fine but suddenly in the new documents I am doing, the graphics pasted are coming out a completely different colour to how they look in the corel software. I haven't knowingly changed anything and documents previously created are not affected. Any ideas?? Thanks  Bev

Answer
Hi Bev

This kind of thing can make you tear you hair out, I know!

Something somewhere has changed of course. I am going to take a stab at it being the colour model you're choosing in CorelDraw. Make sure your colours are chosen from either the RGB or CMYK palettes (RGB is for screen, CMYK is for print).

This can be specified in the Uniform Fill dialog box, in the Model drop-down.

This is the only thing I can think of, so I hope it sorts you out!

Please let me know how you get on - thank you

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
