CorelDraw/Keyboard Problems

Question
Dear Ran!

I am now using CDR 12 and having problems with keyboards using.

When I open CDR 12 and then use the keyboard shortcuts such as "Copy, Paste, Undo" by clicking "Ctrl + C, Ctrl + P, Ctrl + Z or other shortcuts", it doesn't work at all. I, however, can use "Delete Key or others", so I am sure if they are not the shortcuts, I really can use.

I am wondering why the keyboard shortcuts won't affect at all for other programs.

I was trying to remove and then re-install CDR 12 many times but the problems still remain even.

Let me know what makes the problems and what must I do to strike the unexperienced obstacles?

I am looking forward to your fast answers and helps!  Thanks in advance and best wishes to you all!

Yours sincerely,

LUCK

Answer
Hello Luck

It seems that your CDR shortcuts are missing, although with Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V these are also Windows command keys, so I don't know for sure without testing somehow.

Does Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V work in other programs, for example Notepad?

I have not used CDR 12, but in X4 you can add/edit/delete the keyboard shortcuts with Tools/Options/Workspace/Customisation/Commands, you will find Cut, Copy and Paste under the Edit category. Then click the Shortcut Keys tab at the right. I hope this works for you.

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
