Question
Hi, I am Ramen from INDIA. I am facing a problem while save my artwork in corel. The message box says that " can't save, temp. drive may be full". I delete the temp files from my computer but no solution. plz. help me

Answer
Hi Ramen

I have encountered this same problem myself some years ago, but the problem went away and I don't know why.

To work around the issue, try using Save As.. to save your file.

Another possibility is that your drawing is corrupt. I suggest copy and paste the objects into a new, blank file and see if the new file will save any better.

Double-check that your CorelDraw scratch disks have enough available space. Your hard drive needs AT LEAST THREE TIMES more than your file size to work properly. This is because your open document itself, a temporary file AND when you save the file a new one is created before the old one is deleted. Check where your scratch disks are located in Tools/Options/Workspace/Memory.

Please let us know how you get on - good luck!

My main area of continuous expertise with CorelDraw involves setting press advertisements and I have rarely used it to produce complex drawings. However as director of a small company I have amassed a good deal of background knowledge of computers, various printers and networks over the years. When it comes to problem-solving, I have a long history of having nobody to ask but myself and, lately, the internet!
