Question
I am a single senior female and want to spend at least 2 months this winter (2012) in Costa Rica.  Please advise some good locations and where to find budget priced accomodation by the month.  I do like to be in a beach area but not necessarily right on it.  I would appreciate any assistance you can offer.

There are many places that are nice and affordable, for beaches the Guanacaste region on the pacific coast or in some of the closer beaches in Manuel Antonio or Puntarenas are about an hour away from San José.
What is your budget ? Usually you can find something starting at about $300 a month on up to $1000 or more depending on the size and area.
If you like I can help you find a place once you give me more information and if your interested in one I can coordinate to reserve the two months for you after you have decided.
