Question
I'm planning to move to Costa Rica, it could be a long stay. I am an American citizen and need to know the requirements for getting a job there.

Answer
To legally work in Costa Rica you must apply for permanent residency or a temporary work permit.
You will need a birth certificate, a police record certificate and a proof of income statement or qualify under one of the types of residencies.
Also a job contract if you apply for a permit.
