He is a female country singer and a line for the song is "No I don't want a cup of coffee...I am leaving for work without a kiss goodbye..it doesn't mean I don't love you" I am just stubborn "I'll give in but now I am going to be...." Please help! (It is NOT the Dixie Chicks "NOt Ready to Make Nice)

Answer
I

I'm not sure if this is the song you're wanting but it's the only one that has come close in the net searches I have done.
It is "It Doesn't Mean I Don't Love You" was recorded by The McHayes and Trent Willmon.
Also check out "Not In This Life" by Lori McKenna and "Side of the Road" by Lucinda Williams.

When I walk out on our war,
The last shot fired is a slammin' door,
When I can't take it any more,
An' just take a drive.

When the words that I just spoke,
Ran straight for your throat:
When I should hold you, but I don't;
I just turn out the light.

It doesn't mean I'm done.
It doesn't mean I'm givin' up on us.
It doesn't mean our love doesn't mean everything, 'cause it does.
It doesn't mean I'm gone.
Even when I do the things that I hate that I do.
It doesn't mean I don't love you.

When the words you mean don't cross my lips;
When I forget the goodbye kiss.
When you feel last on my list,
For the hundredth time.

When I'm out late with all my friends,
Lose track of time, an' don't shift gear.
When I' wrong, an' I know I am,
An' don't apologise.

More than you'll ever know,
More than I'll let it show.
Bein' you an' me can be hard on us both.

Instrumental Break.

It doesn't mean I'm gone.
Even when I do the things that I hate that I do.
It doesn't mean I don't love you.
It doesn't mean I don't love you.
'Cause, baby, I love you.

I can usually locate song by artist, excerpts and even circa around when the song was released in country, rock and other genres. ****** PLEASE do not ask me about videos. I do not watch them.******** I've been singing since I started talking, singing in public since I was 7. Still at it at 56. I have an extensive repertoire as well as lots of music. I also actively research for other people, including local djs, music that no one else can find, especially being given just paraphrased lines of songs. I'm the one @ karaoke that usually gets asked, "Who did this song?" or "Do you know a song that goes" and if it's country, I usually can name the song and artist, sometimes give within a couple of years the year of release. I've got a lot of lyrics in my database, as well as friends with working musicians who do open mic jams who have even more extensive databases than I do.
