Question
Who is the female country singer who recorded "Slow Hand"?
The female version of Conway Twitty's recording.

Answer
According to Wikipedia,

""Slow Hand" is a pop ballad by the Pointer Sisters, released in the spring of 1981 on the Planet Records label. It is the fourth track on their Black & White album, released that same year. The song gave the Pointers one of their biggest successful releases as the song hit number two on the pop singles chart and became a top ten hit in other countries. The song was ranked in the top 25 best singles of the year by the prestigious Village Voice Pazz & Jop poll, demonstrating music critics' appreciation of the track.

The song would be covered in 1982 by country singer Conway Twitty. His version, on Elektra Records, topped the Billboard magazine Hot Country Singles chart for two weeks that June, and was his last multi-week No. 1 song."

FYI, I used to sing the Pointer Sisters version before Conway's ever came out.

I'm the one @ karaoke that usually gets asked, "Who did this song?" or "Do you know a song that goes" and if it's country, I usually can name the song and artist, sometimes give within a couple of years the year of release. I've got a lot of lyrics in my database, as well as friends with working musicians who do open mic jams who have even more extensive databases than I do.
