Question
Hello, I would really like to find out who sang or what is the actuall name of a song that was on an 8 track my dad had in the early 70's.I think it is called "I Lived a Lifetime in a Night" I can tell you the whole song but I dont know the artist or Actual name.It is possible that Freddy Weller sang it but I really cant find it Thanks.

Answer
The only song that came up with "lifetime in a night" was Almighty Power, by Conway Twitty
I hope it's this one.   If not, since you know the lyrics, do a google search for more of the lyrics.  I definitely didn't find it doing a search for Freddy's hits.

Almighty Power lyrics
by Conway Twitty
(L.E. White)

When you feel like you've come to the end of your way you need love
When all you get is lonesome at the end of the day you need love
When you've lived the lifetime in a night still there's darkness above
There's no way to measure the almighty power of a good woman's love.

When you got an old mem'ry that refuses to die you need love
When you feel someone special has long passed you by you need love
When you've lived the lifetime in a night still there's darkness above
There's no way to measure the almighty power of a good woman's love.

A good woman's love is all that any man needs
Give me a good woman's love my heart my sould and mind plead
When there's someone somewhere that you're thinking of
There's no way to measure the almighty power of a good woman's love...

I also actively research for other people, including local djs, music that no one else can find, especially being given just paraphrased lines of songs. I'm the one @ karaoke that usually gets asked, "Who did this song?" or "Do you know a song that goes" and if it's country, I usually can name the song and artist, sometimes give within a couple of years the year of release. I've got a lot of lyrics in my database, as well as friends with working musicians who do open mic jams who have even more extensive databases than I do.
