Question
I heard a song by a new artist group (female) on XM Radio Highway 16 either Sept. 17,2008 or Oct. 15, 2008. I know it was on a Wednesday between 3:00 and 4:00 pm central time.  The group was being interviewed as rookie drivers.  I check with XM and can not seem to get thru to Channel 16.I do not know any words but I do remember it being a very beautiful song. I belive it was a group of 3 or 4 female singers. If you are able to locate the name and song from your resoources, I would be very grateful for any help you can offer.  Thanking you in advance, I remain
Elizabeth

Answer
First off, I don't listen to XM Radio. So being able to even begin to know what the song by the information you gave is impossible.  I need to know something about the song - like lyrics, what it was about, not when it was played on a xm radio (and even that you weren't sure of).  It's not even as probable as pulling a rabbit out of a hat.  At least you know there's a rabbit and a hat!  You haven't given me any information to work with.
Why not check with XM Radio?  There is a website available and contact information online.   http://www.xmradio.com/onxm/channelpage.xmc?ch=16

I do not watch them.******** I've been singing since I started talking, singing in public since I was 7. Still at it at 56. I have an extensive repertoire as well as lots of music. I also actively research for other people, including local djs, music that no one else can find, especially being given just paraphrased lines of songs. I'm the one @ karaoke that usually gets asked, "Who did this song?" or "Do you know a song that goes" and if it's country, I usually can name the song and artist, sometimes give within a couple of years the year of release. I've got a lot of lyrics in my database, as well as friends with working musicians who do open mic jams who have even more extensive databases than I do.
