Country Music/Please help!

QuestionA friend of mine used to sing a Country song to her daughter as she was growing up and now wants to buy it for her for her birthday. Trouble is, she can't remember what the song is called or who sings it! She heard it back in the mind 70's and it was quite popular on a Liverpool radio station for a while. The lyrics she can remember are:
She's just sent down from above
Sent here for Mummy/Mommy and Daddy to love,
She is our treasure that means all the world
She's just her Mummy/Mommy and Daddy's little girl.
Obviously these lyrics won't be 100% accurate, but thought I would ask on the off chance you would know!
It would mean the world to us.
Thankyou!
AnswerHello again Jana,
Here are the words to Philomena Begley's "Mommy And Daddy's Little Girl". It sounds like it might be the one you want.......
She's just her Mommy and Daddy's little girl
Some have their treasures of diamonds and gold
Others have fortunes that's never been told
This is our pleasure, that means all the world
She's just her Mommy and Daddy's little girl
She's just an angel sent down from above
Sent there for Mommy and Daddy to love
She is our pleasure, that means all the world
She's just her Mommy and Daddy's little girl
(Instrumental Break)
She's just an angel sent down from above
Sent there for Mommy and Daddy to love
She is our pleasure, that means all the world
She's just her Mommy and Daddy's little girl
She's just her Mommy and Daddy's little girl
Glad to be of help. Cheers........Mel.
