Questionit has been killing me i hear the song all the time and i ask everyone i know the same question and they don't know....the song goes like this....
i was selling turnips on a flat bed truck, crunching on a pork skin when she pulled up, she must have thought this is where rednecks come from, she Hollywood on her license plate, she was lost and looking for the interstate, i told her way up yonder past the caution light, theres a little country store with an old coke sign, you gotta stop in ask ms. bell for some of her sweet tea, and a left will take you to the interstate, but a right will bring you right back here to me...i know the rest but i just wanted to give you a bit...can you help me out please.
AnswerThe song you are looking for is called "Good Directions" and was originally written and recorded by Luke Bryan ("All My Friends Say"). The song was recently re-recorded and released as a single by Billy Currington, which made it all the way to #1 on the top 40 country charts. So the Billy Currington version is most likely the one you have been hearing. Hope this helps, have a great day! IAN
