Country Music/Randy Travis

Question
QUESTION: Mel...

I am a fellow "expert" on the military history site and now have a country music question. Randy Travis did a CMT video several years ago with a small orchestra,
with especial emphasis on the violins. For the life of me I can't think of the name. Does this ring a bell with you.
Thanks
Al

ANSWER: Hello Al,

Sorry to take so long, but I've been experiencing some computer problems. Anyway.......all sorted now.

In the meantime, I've been going through all the Randy Travis recordings that I have, and carrying out some other searches, but I'm afraid I haven't been able to come up with the title of the one you want.

But I'll keep searching and get back to you when/if I'm successful. Can you put an approximate year to the song?

Cheers.........Mel.

Answer
Hello again Al,

Sorry, but I've had no luck in finding your song for you. However, here's a site where you can watch several of Randy Travis' song videos on-line.......

http://www.videocure.com/music-videos/r/f3b3fa914dfffd2c11125a6d1fefc64b.html

For some reason my computer won't let me view them (still giving me a few problems), but you might have more luck and, hopefully, your song will be one of them.

Hope that's of some help. Cheers.......Mel.

Expertise

I have been hooked on Country music since first hearing Jim Reeves in the late 50s. Two of the greatest nights of my life were seeing The Mavericks and Reba McEntire live in London. I am more at home with traditional Country music, but am happy to try and help with any questions relating to songs up to 2000. Please note that I DO NOT have the same knowledge about country music videos or singers private lives.

Ex-record merchandiser with an extensive personal record/cd collection containing everything from Jim Reeves to Dwight Yoakam.
