Country Music/Mac Davis

Question
For years I have been trying to find two songs by Mac Davis -"Little Dutch Town" and "Once was the Time of Man"! Could you please tell me what albums they are on, and how I can purchase them? I would appreciate it so much! Thank you.

Answer
Hello Francesca,

The good news is that both songs were issued on a CD titled "Vol XC/Losers" by Mac Davis on the Allegiance label.

The bad news is that this CD does not appear to be available for purchase at the present time.

The only thing I can suggest is that you keep an eye on such sites as ebay.com in the hope that a copy turns up there.

Glad to be of help. Cheers........Mel.

Expertise

I have been hooked on Country music since first hearing Jim Reeves in the late 50s. Two of the greatest nights of my life were seeing The Mavericks and Reba McEntire live in London. I am more at home with traditional Country music, but am happy to try and help with any questions relating to songs up to 2000. Please note that I DO NOT have the same knowledge about country music videos or singers private lives.
