I remember hearing "Red Headed Stranger" on the radio in the mid to late '50s.  Am I dreaming or not.  I heard that Willie Nelson wrote it and made it popular in the '70s.  I know that he wrote songs for other entertainers.  Is it possible that someone else sang it before him?
