Question
Mel,I heard a song on a youtube video that really got me. Great lyrics, music and singer. It is a country song with a male vocalist and great guitar work. I'm missing some of the lyrics but it starts out like this,
"Whenever I dream in the darkness of night.....
wherever I wander
I hope that you'll remember me,
I hope that you'll remember me
The song is in a motorcycle video on youtube if you would like to hear it.

I appreciate your help,
Jim

Answer
Hello Jim,

That's "Remember Me" by James Intveld.....

Whenever I dream in the darkness of night
Whatever I see through the mystic light
Whenever I wonder where you might be
I hope that you will remember me

If you should awake from all precious things
I will be waiting here for the hope that you'll bring
And if you never return from the distant sea
I hope that you will remember me

In all of my days and all of my nights
I will be faithful to your memory 'til i die
And if it should be, I'll stand by your side
If heaven be my faith, heaven be my faith

Whatever I find in these troubled days
Whatever I learn as I find my way
Whatever I do that will set me free
I hope that you will remember me
I hope that you will remember me
I hope that you still remember me

Glad to be of help. Cheers..........Mel.

Expertise

I have been hooked on Country music since first hearing Jim Reeves in the late 50s. Two of the greatest nights of my life were seeing The Mavericks and Reba McEntire live in London. I am more at home with traditional Country music, but am happy to try and help with any questions relating to songs up to 2000. Please note that I DO NOT have the same knowledge about country music videos or singers private lives.
