Answer
Hello Charles,

Do you possibly mean this one by Brian McComas from 2003......

"YOUR IN MY HEAD"

I don't know why I'm even callin'
I told myself I'm through with fallin'
Right now I should be runnin' from these thoughts of you
That just keep comin', but I can't

Your in my head, your in my heart
Your in that song on the radio in my car
Even in my dreams I feel your skin
On my skin, out of breath
Each day ends like it begins
Your in my head

I drove 400 miles the other day
Biggest mistake that I ever made
Cause I saw you on every billboard sign
And ever car that passed me by I saw your face

Your in my head, your in my heart
Your in that song on the radio in my car
Even in my dreams I feel your skin
On my skin, out of breath
Each day ends like it begins
Your in my head

Ain't no trigger it can trip
No switch that I can flip
Even if I wanted to
Your in my head

Your in my head, your in my heart
Your in that song on the radio in my car
Even in my dreams I feel your skin
On my skin, out of breath
Each day ends like it begins
Your in my head

Your in my head
Your in my head
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah!

Or possibly this one by Nick Lachey that came out in 2006....

"EVERYWHERE BUT HERE"

Here is the place we used to go
We were laughing
Hand in hand walking down the road
We were happy
Here is the corner where you sit
Kids were stupid
I remember you in red
We were something good
We were something, yeah
Were we something!

Your in my head
Your under my skin
Your everywhere but here, but here
Its' a mystery
How you can be
Everywhere but...

Here's the time where we met
On your lunch break
Corner table just you and me
On a monday
in the rain we ran and ran
To your apartment
You called in sick to work again
We were something good
We were something, yeah
Were we something!

Your in my head
Your under my skin
Your everywhere but here, but here
Its' a mystery
How you can be
Everywhere but here
You're everywhere but here
You're everywhere but here
You're everywhere but here

We were something good
We were something, yeah
Were we something!

You're everywhere but here
It's a mystery
How you can be
Everywhere but here
Its' a mystery
How you can be
Everywhere but here

Glad to be of help. Cheers........Mel.

Expertise

I have been hooked on Country music since first hearing Jim Reeves in the late 50s. Two of the greatest nights of my life were seeing The Mavericks and Reba McEntire live in London. I am more at home with traditional Country music, but am happy to try and help with any questions relating to songs up to 2000. Please note that I DO NOT have the same knowledge about country music videos or singers private lives.
