Question
The song goes something like this,  Stealing love from the ladies, I think they get it from their babies,,,, they way they treat me lord, its a sin,, and Robin Hood rides again. I thought it was named Robin Hood rides again but I cant find any reference on the computer. My best guess around 1975 to 1980. No idea who the singer is. It is a man. Any idea? Thank you.

Answer
Hello Donald,

Billy "Crash" Craddock had a record out in 1979 called "Robin Hood".

They say Robin Hood lived a long time ago
But he's alive in El Paso
The pretty women and the neon lights
Brings him out a ridin', eatin' every night

The way he treats them all, it's a sin
And Robin Hood rides again

Now you won't spot him by the horse he rides
The Eldorado Cadillac that he drives
He won't be sportin' no bright green suit
Just faded Levi's and cowboy boots

The way he treats them all, it's a sin
And Robin Hood rides again

Hey midnight rambler, like to move around
Ain't no woman gonna tie him down
He's got a way with the fancy lies
He got away with that woman of mine

The way he treats them all, it's a sin
And Robin Hood rides again
Hey, Robin Hood rides again

Glad to be of help. Cheers.......Mel.

Expertise

I have been hooked on Country music since first hearing Jim Reeves in the late 50s. Two of the greatest nights of my life were seeing The Mavericks and Reba McEntire live in London. I am more at home with traditional Country music, but am happy to try and help with any questions relating to songs up to 2000. Please note that I DO NOT have the same knowledge about country music videos or singers private lives.
